Following hot on the heels of our Winter/Spring NYC Craft Beer Festival tasting event and in keeping with their desire to bring the New York area the opportunity to sample the best in seasonal beers, they are proud to announce the Brooklyn Waterfront Craft & Specialty Beer Festival. This Summer’s tasting festival will take place outdoors on the Brooklyn Waterfront with spectacular views of the Manhattan Skyline. Many of the hot tickets in the culinary world can now be found in their Food Trucks featuring locally made specialty dishes at this event as well.
The Festival will be located at 5 North 11th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, June 16, 2012.

BROOKLYN CUPCAKE is proud to support the International Rescue Committee (IRC) at its 4th Annual Benefit Event, “Sowing Hope, Growing Communities” at the Brooklyn Brewery TONIGHT @ 9pm!
The IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis and helps people survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster.
All proceeds from this event will go towards establishing and running the IRC in “NY’s Community Garden/Urban Farming Project”, known as the “New Roots Program”.

On Saturday, May 26th, the NY Character-Based Street Wear Brand, “Mo’No Mo’No”, is hosting its first gallery event, “CELEBRATE LIFE THROUGH ART”, where a portion of the proceeds will benefit, ART START.
ART START has become an award-winning, nationally recognized model for using the creative arts to transform young, at-risk lives. ART START kids live in city shelters, on the streets, are involved in court cases, or surviving with parents in crisis. Through ART START’s daily creative arts workshops taking place inside some of the city’s loneliest places, at-risk youth collaborate with local teaching artists and educators who donate their time and guidance to nurture the youth’s creativity and talents.
ART STARTʼs success has received national media attention. It has been featured on: The Oprah Winfrey Show; Bravoʼs mini-documentary, “Stories of Arts for Change” by two-time Academy Award-Winning Director, Barbara Kopple; and the 2003 CBS Special, “Fulfilling the Dream”. In 2009, the Sundance Channel debuted, “The Hip Hop Project”, a feature-length documentary about ART STARTʼs award-winning music program for teens in crisis, executive produced by Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah.
