The New York Times posted an article entitled, “Pie to Cupcake: Time’s Up” stating that “the cupcake craze has gone too far”, considering that now there are savory cupcakes (e.g.: Turkey Cranberry Cupcake with Gravy) popping up everywhere. However, the article mainly mentions all the different types of savory pies available at different locations throughout NYC!  Hmmm… I think this writer’s ex loved cupcakes!  Seriously… cupcakes have created more childhood memories and bonding experiences than pies ever have. You can be much more creative with them- not only presentation wise but flavor wise.  What kid wants their mom to replace their beloved cupcakes with pie? Of course, my opinion is biased. What do you think?
